ZDHC certification

Textiles dyed with hydrosulfite from BASF are now proven to be produced responsibly. This is because our hydrosulfites have achieved the ZDHC Confidence Level 3 V3.1 certificate. This means that the BASF hydrosulfite plant in Ludwigshafen is now included in the ZDHC's MRSL (Manufacturing Restricted Substances List).

To achieve this, companies must meet stringent requirements in various areas, including health and safety management, waste and air emissions management including EHS, supplier management, quality management systems and toxicological risk assessment
